In this project I wanted to learn about grids and layouts for print using Chuck Close as the subject matter. For the grid system I wanted to use a square-like grid to mimic the grid that Chuck Close had used to create his work.And for the type I wanted to show a mixture of old and new ideas (similar to Chuck Close bringing back the idea of realism and portraiture) so I used Adobe Caslon Pro and Futura Std.
